My name is Nailah André born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Piscataway, New Jersey. I am a early career journalist with a passion for telling stories. As a journalist in the age of digital media I work hard to be well versed in print, audio, and video.

I started my career at Piscataway High School in Piscataway, New Jersey as a radio host for WVPH 90.3FM The Pulse. Once at Hofstra University I became a member of WRHU 88.7FM Radio Hofstra University. I started off as a music program producer, then Director of Music Programming and later Executive Producer of Getting To The Root a community oriented documentary style podcast. I was also a staff writer at the school paper The Hofstra Chronicle where I wrote investigative articles as well as cover campus events.

I graduated from Hofstra University May 2019 with a BA in Journalism and minor in Sociology. I have interned for Baeble Music, WNYC, PBS and NPR. Most recently I was an Associate Producer on a Sports Illustrated podcast series and I am the current Associate Editor at ABF Creative.
