During my last semester at Hofstra University I had the opportunity to intern at WNET for local news program MetroFocus. This was a fantastic internship where I was involved in all levels of segment production. In fact I pitched, booked, produced, and edited this segment about the less known history of WWI Medal of Honor recipient Henry Johnson who was a member of Harlem’s 369th regiment which was predominantly composed of African American soldiers.
